About Tokyo Subway Map

This is a 2014 update to my original 2010 pattern. It includes the original lap quilt size, with expanded directions for making different sizes, pieced backs, and multiple options for using fabrics. 

This scrap-busting quilt is made with 1,600 fabric squares and 25 unique blocks. Use scraps in 12 colors to create the subway "lines" and "stops" on this stylized transit map. 

Each of the four size variations follow the same layout using a different size of fabric squares. All sizes include instructions for a pieced back.

About the PDF Pattern

This listing is for a full-color quilt pattern that can be viewed on an electronic device or printed on standard-size printer paper. If you plan to print the pattern, printing in full color is recommended. The pdf document is 12 pages long, including a cover page that you do not need to print. 

The pdf pattern document is 12 pages long, including 11 pattern pages and a cover page about the pdf pattern.

A link to download the pdf pattern will be provided after checkout. It will also be sent to you via email. The download link will work a total of five times. Please be sure to save the pattern in a safe place within your own system, so you can access it whenever you want.
