The Bunny Bunch
The Bunny Bunch includes Basil, Blanche, Bertie, and Button. They’re a well-dressed group, sporting shirts, overalls, and dresses that you can make with your favorite fabrics. The pattern also includes a bonus Baby Bunny block on Page 20.

ABOUT THE PATTERN
This is a patchwork-pieced pattern. The blocks are made entirely of rotary-cut squares and rectangles, and everything is sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!
This pattern includes a large number of pieces, many of which are small, but the same basic patchwork piecing techniques are used throughout. The pattern includes detailed cutting directions, including charts that show all of the pieces included in each block. The instructions for making each block include both written directions and full-color diagrams for each step.
Among my patterns, The Bunny Bunch is rated Skill Level 4 (of 5). You can read more about skill levels here.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
My sample quilts were made using Robert Kaufman fabrics including Kona Solids, Essex Linen Blends, Lightweight Denim, and 12 of my Kitchen Window Wovens plaids.
The bunnies are made from the Essex Linen Blends listed on the pattern back, with Kona Espresso Eye and Nose details.
The Bunnies’ shirts, dresses, and clothing details are made from Kona Solids and Kitchen Window Wovens. The pattern includes a detailed chart showing which fabrics I used, and where they go in the quilts. This is a great place to use 10 Square packs/Layer Cakes or scraps.
Basil and Bertie’s overalls can be made using denim or, if you prefer not to use denim, any denim-colored fabric. I used Robert Kaufman’s 1012-1634 Lt. Indigo Washed Denim, which is a little heavier than the other fabrics in the quilt, but not so much that I found it difficult to piece. Kona Cadet and Essex Cadet would both be good alternatives.
ABOUT THE QUILTING
My sample was quilted by Emily Hoppe of So Sunny Quilts, using May Flowers by Jess Zeigler.
