LARGE QUILT

The 67" x 80" Small Quilt is made with five sets of five blocks.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

This is a patchwork pattern. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing.

This pattern includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.

Among my patterns, Pointy is rated Skill Level 3 (of 5). You can read more about skill levels here.

ABOUT THE FABRIC

Each set of five blocks is made with 5 coordinating fat eighths (9" x 21" each).

My sample quilt was made with my 2014 Kona Solids Designer Palette, including:

  • Group 1: Thistle, Pansy, Violet, Cerise, Valentine
  • Group 2: Peach, Mango, Carrot, Flame, Tomato
  • Group 3: Corn Yellow, Wasabi, Peapod, Bluegrass, Emerald
  • Group 4: Aqua, Pool, Breakers, Cyan, Celestial
  • Group 5: Shadow, Pewter, Graphite, Seafoam, Shale

ABOUT THE QUILTING

My Lap Quilt sample was free-motion quilted by me, on my Janome 1600p, in a woodgrain pattern.
