Piece these adorable lemurs and their stripey tails using precut fabric squares.

QUILT AND PILLOW SIZES

Each Tiger block measures 10" wide x 15" tall.

PILLOW

The 20" x 20" pillow is made with one block.

SMALL QUILT

The 36" x 45" Small Quilt is made with two blocks.

LARGE QUILT

The 64" x 76" Large Quilt is made with 20 blocks.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

This is a patchwork pattern. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing.

This pattern also includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.

ABOUT THE FABRIC

Each Lana Lemur block is made with one 10" x 10" piece of colorful fabric for the Lemur Body, one 10" x 10" piece of coordinating fabric for the Mask & Stripes Fabric, and one 5" x 5" square of Ear Fabric.

All blocks will also include a Light Solid Detail Fabric (such as Kona Snow) for the white tail stripes and face details, and a Dark Solid Detail Fabric (such as Kona Pepper) for the Eyes and Noses.

For my Large Quilt sample, I used a charm pack of my Spring 2019 Adventure print collection for the Ear Fabrics. I used Robert Kaufman's Essex Linen Blends for the Body Fabrics and Kona Solids for the Mask & Stripe Details, as follows (Body Fabric/Mask & Strip Details)

ABOUT THE QUILTING

My samples were free-motion quilted by me, on my Janome 1600p, using a pattern of meandering squares. For longarm quilting, any similar edge-to-edge design should look great!
