Hazel Hedgehog II

Make pillows and quilts using large and gigantic versions of my Hazel Hedgehog block.

QUILT AND PILLOW SIZES

The projects in this pattern are made with 24" x 26" Large Blocks or 34" x 37" Gigantic Blocks.

PILLOW

The 20" x 20" Pillow shown in the gallery below is made with a modified version of the Large Block.

BABY QUILT

The 34" x 37" Baby Quilt is made with a single Gigantic Block.

CHILD QUILT

The 48" x 52" Child Quilt is made with four Large Blocks.

LAP QUILT

The 68" x 74" Lap Quilt shown in the gallery below is made with four Gigantic Blocks.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

This is a patchwork pattern. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing.

This pattern includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.

OPTIONAL GLASSES APPLIQUE

The pattern includes a full-size glasses pattern that you can use to make raw-edge glasses appliqués for your blocks.

ABOUT THE QUILTING

My samples were free-motion quilted by me, on my Janome 1600p.
