The Large Quilt measures 86" x 86" and includes nine blocks.
SMALL QUILT
The Small Quilt measures 58" x 58" and includes four blocks.

The Rainbow Flower Units in each block can be arranged facing or out, depending on which style you prefer. Both layouts use the same sets of cut pieces and Page 11 shows how to put together each version of the block.

ABOUT THE PATTERN
This is a patchwork-pieced pattern. The blocks are made entirely of rotary-cut squares and rectangles, and everything is sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!
The pattern includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.
Among my patterns, Casserole is rated Skill Level 3 (of 5). You can read more about skill levels here.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
My pattern cover sample (the one with rainbow colors) was made using my Fall 2019 Library collection for Robert Kaufman, with Kona Solids and Manchester Yarn-Dyed Cotton coordinates. The fabric guide in the pattern lists all of the fabrics I used in this quilt.
The sample with yellow and gold fabrics and a Kona Moss background was made with all Kona Solids. A fabric guide for this quilt can be downloaded below.
The pattern calls for 9" x 21" fat eighths of pairs of precut 10" x 10" squares. This is also a great project for using scraps!
ABOUT THE QUILTING
My samples were free-motion quilted by me, on my Janome 1600p.
