ABOUT THE PATTERN
This is a patchwork pattern. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing.
This pattern includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.
Among my patterns, Bunny is rated Skill Level 3 (of 5). You can read more about skill levels here.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
You can make one Bunny block from a fat eighth (9" x 21") or two Bunny blocks from a fat quarter (18" x 21").
For my Large Quilt sample, I used fat eighths of Kona Crimson, Cedar, Grellow, Wasabi, Pickle, Bonsai, Shadow, Ultra Marine, Jade Green, Aloe, Breakers, Cyan, Celestial, Storm, Cerise, Berry, Sangria, Watermelon, Nectarine, and Peach (20 total fabrics).
The Background Fabric is Robert Kaufman's Essex Yarn-Dyed Steel. The Light and Dark Solid Detail Fabrics are Kona Snow and Espresso.
OPTIONAL GLASSES APPLIQUE
The pdf pattern includes a full-size glasses patterns that you can use to make raw-edge glasses appliqués for your blocks.
If you have an earlier version of the pattern that doesn't include the glasses, you can download a copy using the link below.
ABOUT THE QUILTING
My Large Quilt sample was free-motion quilted by me, on my Janome 1600p, in a pattern of meandering squares.
